We built Betatrade from zero—a custom, AI-driven algorithmic trading platform

Context

Industry: Finance / Algorithmic Trading
The Problem:

The world of algorithmic trading has traditionally been reserved for large financial institutions with massive technical resources. Our catalyst, Humphrey Ho, identified a significant gap in the market while seeking solutions for a Multi-Family Office. Existing off-the-shelf platforms lacked a codeless interface, failed to offer truly customizable strategies, and did not address the specific investment objectives of private family offices. We needed to build a bridge between complex mathematical models and actionable, user-friendly execution.

Solution

We developed BetaTrade, an AI-driven platform that empowers institutional and seasoned investors to leverage advanced mathematical models without writing a single line of code.

  • Codeless Strategy Builder: A revolutionary interface that allows users to create, customize, and automate trading strategies based on their own investment thesis.
  • Advanced Feature Ecosystem: Integrated a Multimarket Real-Time Data Pipeline, a Machine Learning Backtesting framework, and the "BetaBot" AI analyst to provide data-driven insights.
  • Risk Mitigation & Paper Trading: Implemented a sophisticated recommendation engine that validates strategy performance with live market data through paper trading before actual deployment.
  • Global Asset Coverage: Extended trading capabilities across US and HK Equities, Forex, and Cryptocurrencies into a single, scalable interface.

Results

BetaTrade transformed from a private tool into a comprehensive platform that leads the evolution of self-directed algorithmic trading.
